Impressive and solid woodland garden bench manufactured from Douglas Fir grown in the West Country, kiln-dried and tanalised.  These benches are grown, milled and manufactured in the West Country to give the lowest carbon footprint.    Built to the highest standards with quality checks at every stage of the process.  FSC certification available on request.  The process we use for pressure treating means we can offer a 10 year guarantee against rot.  As well as being FSC accredited which ensures our timber is from sustainable, managed woodland, our kiln drying ensures minimum movement within the timber.  Our kilns are fired by waste wood - lowest possible carbon footprint.    This very chunky bench is manufactured to a heavy duty standard (38mm) which means that the extra wood gives you a stronger and more robust product that will stand up to the ravages of weather and time.    This sustainable woodland  bench is hand-crafted with solid construction, with high backs and rounded arms for comfort.  It is a recommended sustainable product for schools, colleges and other high use commercial organisations.
