Impressive and solid backless street bench manufactured from Douglas Fir grown in the West Country, kiln-dried and tanalised, mortise joints throughout.  These benches are grown, milled and manufactured in the West Country to give the lowest carbon footprint.    Built to the highest standards with quality checks at every stage of the process.  FSC certification available on request.  The process we use for pressure treating means we can offer a 15 year guarantee against rot.  As well as being FSC accredited which ensures our timber is from sustainable, managed woodland, our kiln drying ensures minimum movement within the timber.  Our kilns are fired by waste wood - lowest possible carbon footprint.   Sustainable Furniture is proud to annouce that this range of products has up to 3 times as much wood as our competition.  This extra wood gives you a stronger and more robust product that will stand up to the ravages of weather and time.  This sustainable backless street bench is double width for back to back seating.  Recommended for schools, colleges and other high use commercial organisations.
