Natural wicker chairs with this large teak table marry together to make a comfortable and relaxing dining set - your guests will love these chairs.   The large 240cm teak table has strong and thick legs and the table top is manufactured to a design called Taplock which means that the two end pieces lock the timbers together, there are other fine joinery methods keeping the timbers together in the centre of the table.   Lovely Kubu grey armchairs are offer with this table and chair set  and if you are looking for a natural feel in your entertaining area then this set is just to you and you may wish to select a cabinet with Kubu drawers to match.  Cushions are included in a colour choice of natural or black.

Teak which has been reclaimed is generally more rustic textured and has naturally occuring defects through age and use.  Our wood has been sourced from Colonial buildings where the timber has aged and stabilised over many years enabling it to easily cope with the general rigours of every day use.   There has been no attempt to disguise repairs to naturally occuring defects and in our opinion this only adds to the rustic charm.  In a modern centrally heated dry environment minor cracks or longitudinal shakes can occur in the timbers these are only cosmetic and in no way affect the structural integrity of the product and should be accepted as part of the character of the furniture.  By purchasing reclaimed products you eliminate the need to cut down living trees - which helps to preserve natural forests and protect the environment.   Old teak is a rapidly diminishing resource and this bespoke hand crafted reclaimed furniture will not only hold its value but be the collectable for the future.  This is an investment.
